The park covers 4000 acres of countryside incorporating 10 miles of riverbanks and beautiful scenery which follows the River Lagan towpath between Belfast at Stranmillis and Union Locks in Lisburn, making this a rambler's paradise. It is a mosaic of countryside, urban parkland, heritage sites, nature reserves and riverside trails.
