Cycling the Lagan TowpathCycling from Lisburn to Belfast and beyond following the Lagan Towpath, which is part of the National Cycle Network, gives you the opportunity of cycling between the two cities avoiding traffic and enjoying the beauty and tranquility of the River Lagan.

Another popular location for cycling is the shores of Lough Neagh which is at the very heart of Ulster and is an ideal destination for a short cycling break.

The Lagan and Lough Cycle way is a guide produced by Sustrans and is part of the national cycle network. It is a 21 mile, mostly traffic-free cycle and walking route between Lisburn, Belfast and Jordanstown. The guide is available in the Cities Tourist Information Centres.
