Coarse & Game Fishing can be enjoyed at beautiful and productive locations including Lough Neagh, Stoneyford and Leathemstown Reservoirs, Hillsborough Forest Park Lake and the River Lagan.Stoneyford Reservoir

Stoneyford is one of the most popular department fisheries and is regularly stocked with up to 10,000 takeable fish and 500 fingerlings (Brown & Rainbow Trout). Early fly fish with lures and streamers is popular.

It is essential however that anglers have both a permit and licence.  Season 1st March – 31st October

Hillsborough Lake is situated within Hillsborough Forest Park and is well stocked with Rainbow Trout and again it is essential that anglers have both a permit and licence. 

Fishing is also available at Broadwater near Aghalee, Lough Erne near Annahilt, Portmore Lough near Lower Ballinderry and Lough Neagh to name just a few.
