The City of Lisburn has a number fisheries, lakes and rivers to access for all kinds of fishing. 

Cycling

Cycling the Lagan Towpath, which is part of the National Cycle Network, allows you the opportunity of cycling from Lisburn to Belfast avoiding traffic.

Lisburn offers many competitive Golf Courses, including 18 hole courses and 2 9 hole courses. 

Horse Racing

Down Royal Racecourse dates back to 1685 (Ireland's oldest horse racing venue) and today hosts 12 race meetings per year.

Motorcycle Racing

The City hosts the Dundrod 150 and the Ulster Grand Prix at the Dundrod Motorcycle Road Racing Circuit, which is one of only two Motorcycle Road Racing Circuits in Northern Ireland.

Walking

Walkers are in their element as the City has a vast choice of terrain for rambling – from the hilly tracks around Dromara and Colin Mountain to the softer level trails of our lakes, rivers and waterways, the Lagan Towpath offers walkers a pleasant view of the City.
