August Craft Month 08 is Northern Ireland's annual celebration of craft. To accompany this celebration a free full-colour guide will be available across Northern Ireland from July at tourist information centres, libraries and other venues. In the guide you'll find a wealth of events and activities that showcase the work of craft makers in Northern Ireland and from across the UK, Ireland and Europe. 

As part of August Craft Month, Craft NI invites you to join us on a silver trail across Northern Ireland- a series of five major exhibitions featuring world class silver collections containing the very best of historical and contemporary silver. We begin in Hillsborough with the opening of the EAT & DRINK: CONNECT Collection at Hillsborough Courthouse at 12:00pm, 1 August. Other stunning exhibitions on the trail include the Downing Street Silver Collection at Hillsborough Castle (The Silver Trust), Silver Sounds at Queen's University (The Naughton Gallery) and the Walled City Silver Exhibition at St Columb's Cathedral in Derry.
