The leaflet, which hightlights the heritage alongside points of interest in and around Dromara Village, is the result of some hard work from members of the Dromara Community Association.  Joyce Poots was congratulated on co-ordinating the information, whilst local artists Fiona Loan and Phillip McKinstry were also complimented on the inclusion of their artwork in the guide that will be useful to residents and visitors alike wishing to find out more about this picturesque village in County Down.

Speaking at the launch, Councillor Ewart said: "Lisburn City Council is pleased to be associated with the effort being made from the Dromara Community Association in the production of this new leaflet highlighting interesting facts and attractions near to Dromara.  The Council was particularly happy to see the efforts being made to promote this rural area, with local contributions from artists, historians and others."

The Dromara Trail will be available in the Tourist Information Centres located at Hillsborough Courthouse and Lisburn Square or by telephoning 028 9266 0038.
