The Downshire Monument can be seen travelling from Hillsborough to Dromore Village.

A very fine example of a 12th Century Norman fortification.
Giants Ring
The Giant's Ring was built at the begining of the Bronze age between 2500 BC - 3000 BC and is a most impressive earthwork, over 200 metre in diameter, surrounded by a bank of gravel and boulders. It is estimated that it would have taken 70.000 man hours to build.
Harry Ferguson
Harry Ferguson (born in Dromara) achieved worldwide fame with his invention of the Ferguson 3 point linkage system. This system still forms the basis of almost every tractor made today.
Dromara
Birthplace of Harry Ferguson, the world famous inventor, is a good base for exploring the unspoilt countryside. Don't miss Legananny Dolmen a prehistoric three legged 'giants grave' just outside the village.
Moira

It is another Georgian architectural masterpiece and is a record-breaking winner of 'Britain in Bloom' Awards. Every shop, house, courtyard and archway of this lovely little country village is festooned with colour and visitors to the town can leave with an assortment of gifts including its internationally renowned sausages.
